Classes

A complete list of player-attainable classes

Class Selection

Once you have earned a level-up, you may choose to invest that level into one of several classes. There are a total of 32 starter classes that are broken up by alignment and archetype: 16 each of good and evil classes, and of those 4 each of the Healer, Fighter, Scout, and Caster archetypes. Each class has an associated "inverse" class (for this example we'll be looking at Cleric/Necromancer, and Lifebringer/Deatheater). Once a player has invested into a class they can't invest any levels into the inverse of that class: In the example of Cleric/Necromancer, once a player has put levels into Necromancer they will be unable to invest into Cleric at all.

However, putting level into a class does NOT limit you from taking other classes of the opposite alignment in the same archetype. So in our example, if a player has one level in Necromancer and earns another level up, they can put levels into LifeBringer - they would just be unable to put any levels into DeathEater from that point on.

In this way, a player can only choose to put levels into a total of 16 of the 32 base classes. There are rumors of other "unique" classes that follow a different set of rules, but that's something you might have to discover for yourself.

Just a heads up, each class has different "primary" stats, or a different set of stats that are used for calculating your ability damage, your chance to defend against attacks made against you, etc. Generally speaking if you're planning to multiclass (or invest in multiple classes) you'll want to invest in classes that have a common stat or stats!
